Georgia Hale was born in St. Joseph. (June 25,1900 – June 17, 1985) She was an actress of the silent movie era. Hale began acting in the early 1920’s and achieved one of her most notable successes with the role in Charlie Champlin’s, The Gold Rush (1925).
